About
Innovation is not a goal. It is a path.
My vision
The French open source industry is now a cornerstone of digital sovereignty in France and across Europe. In 2025, the French open source ecosystem represents more than 300 specialized companies, 4,000 direct jobs, and an estimated turnover of nearly €7 billion.
Widely adopted by large enterprises (banking, industrial, defense sectors) and increasingly by mid-sized companies and public administrations, open source guarantees technological independence, auditability, durability, and cost control. It is also a key driver of digital innovation and the protection of digital freedoms.
I am Thierry Bazzanella, a Linux system administrator with over 35 years of experience and the founder of TBNETSYS®. I work hands-on to design, automate, and operate robust, distributed, audited, and sustainable infrastructures, built on proven Open Source technologies.
My approach is rooted in a commitment to digital sovereignty: I prioritize fully controlled architectures, deployable on-premise or with European providers, and independent from extra-European proprietary cloud platforms whenever those platforms result in a loss of technical, legal, or strategic control.
I strongly advocate for open system architectures, proactive monitoring, and high availability, with a constant objective: to ensure my clients retain full control over their data, their infrastructures, and their technological choices, over the long term.
Through my company TBNETSYS®, I favor a model of direct collaboration with my clients, small and medium-sized businesses, local authorities, institutions, and large enterprises, based on transparency, proximity, and knowledge transfer. Each project aims to ensure full ownership of environments by internal teams, supported by long-term strategic, technical, and human guidance.
